There was high drama on Monday at the Southern Re-gion Water Board (SRWB) in Zomba where an irate woman dumped her two children in the office of an Internal Audit Assistant, accusing him of abdicating his responsibility.

The woman, alleged to be a commercial sex-worker who plies her trade at Kachimanga, Pa Tholo and Council Bar, is reported to have arrived at SRWB offices around noon in the company of her two children and a friend.

Eye-witnesses told The Weekend Times that the atmosphere turned theatrical when the Queen of the Night appeared in the office of Gerald Kapichira, the Internal Audit Assistant, and dumped the kids and their luggage in the office.

The woman said she decided to hand over the responsibility of the children to their father who had abandoned them.

"The woman claimed that Kapichira stopped taking care of his kids; that is why she dumped the kids in his office.

The situation was dramatic as business was brought to a standstill as officers watched the unfolding drama," said the source.

Reports indicate that Kapichira is married and stays with his family in Matawale Township but allegedly sired two children with the sex worker.

Kapichira refused to comment on the matter, demanding to know the source of the story.

"You are refusing to tell me the source of your story but you expect me to give you information? I have the right to know who gave you information," insisted auditor before cutting the line.
