ALL roads will lead to Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday afternoon to witnesses the Blantyre derby between Mighty Wanderers and Bullets FC after Super League of Malawi (Sulom) finally confirmed the much anticipated game.
There were doubts on whether the game would be played considering that there are other activities, however, its now official and the two rivals will clash in the league tie.
The last time the two sides clashed was in Fellowship Association of Malawi Cup season break tournament.
Though both were slightly off form, it did not stop them from churning out their best performance with Bullets emerging the winners in the game that ended 2-0.
This time both sides are enjoying their game though Wanderers have been going through a bad patch.
Both side's coaches have since promised their best.
Wanderers' coach Franco Ndawa said his side was ready for the game despite having struggled against Tigers and lost to Bvumbwe in last weekend games.
"When we play Bullets is always a tough game. It's always exciting and I promise our fans that we will not disappoint," he said.
Ndawa said he was working on the mistakes that he had noticed in the last two games.
"Our problem has been scoring goals. We create good chances but we fail to score goals," he said.
Bullets coach Eddington Ng'onamo also promised to ditch the best as the team welcomes some injured players.
"It's going to be a very difficult game. Some of our players that were injured are now ready to play. Fischer (Kondowe) is now okay so is Henry Kabichi," he said.
Ng'onamo said they were targeting at least two trophies this season.
"We have started well and we just have to keep up the performance and see what will happen," he said.
Bullets are on third position with 10 points from five games with three wins one draw and one loss.
The Nomads have been pushed to fourth position with eight points from two wins, two draws ands one loss.
However, the Capital City will not host their derby between Civo and Silver because Civo and Blue Eagles are expected to play in Standard Bank Cup official launch match.
