Flames up-and-coming midfielder Chimango Kayira has joined Bullets FC on a year-long loan from Escom United.
The midfielder was among some 12 players the former TNM Super League champions transfer-listed at the end of last season.
Both the player and Bullets FC confirmed the development on Thursday.
"It's now official, I am with the People's Team. I will play for Bullets this season," the midfielder said.
Bullets vice general secretary Higger Mkandawire also confirmed the midfielder's move.
"Yes, it's true Chimango is now with us. Escom have allowed the player to join us on a year-long loan. We will discuss a permanent transfer later," Mkandawire said.
He also disclosed that they were also talking to Escom United to release their veteran striker Heston Munthali.
"We hope to conclude the talks before the transfer window closes so that he can also join us.
"The two players will bring with them massive experience and talent for the team and hope they can contribute to the team's performance, this season," he said.
Bullets start the season with a tight fixture against defending champion Silver Strikers at Silver Stadium in the season opener on Saturday.
However, they will be without Kayira who has travelled with the national team to Kenya for World Cup qualifier against Harambee Stars.
Though largely regarded as one of the best midfielders in TNM Super League, it took Kayira a long time to break into the senior national team.
He has, however, managed to impress the coach and he convinced him in the squad that has 11 Super League players.
He also travelled with the team to China where he played in the game against China Under-22 that ended in a two-all stalemate.
