Tanzania President Jakaya Kikwete has assured President Joyce Banda that their border dispute will not end into war and the two leaders have agreed to a round table meeting today (Friday) in Mozambique.
President Banda announced this today at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe before boarding a South African Airways plane to Maputo, Mozambique.
Both presidents will be in Maputo to attend the Southern African Development Community (SADC) heads of states meeting.
The announcement came hours after the foreign affairs ministers of the two countries met in the Mozambican capital and agreed on a working schedule for discussions.
